VINTAGE VS VINTAGE VOL.1

Hi vintage lovers

Not a lot people have vintage shoes and wear them; in fact maybe there is more people that collect vintage sneakers but they don't wear them. So the point is that when you know a guy for the same neighbourhood (YORS NB) that wears sneakers like you do; i had the great oportunity to create this new section VINTAGE VS VINTAGE. The fact is to make pics from similar models or cw and you decide which one you like the most.

Enjoy!!!

Hola vintrage lovers

Disfrutad!!!

VINTAGE REVIEW: NIKE AIR MAX LIGHT

Hi vintage lovers

We have start a new age at VU; i am sorry but because different reasons I have not been uploading anything so i apologize and hope that this time there will be nonstop info.

I have create different sections of that you could better appreciate at our new Tumblr:
vintageunion.tumblr.com for example: Tongues; Stickers; Today’s choice; Keychain; Watches etc. We will also counting with several vintage collectors around the world to make some very interesting reports in my opinion. So what else can I say… ENJOY!!!

Greetings from Spain

Kickssoul

My mate STRIOT is one of those vintage collectors that you had probably never heard about but i can assure you that his sneakers talk for him. Is one of those that clearly represent the example that collecting sneakers is not about quantity but is all about quality.
This time we are going to take a look at the Nike Air Max Light if you have any retro you could appreciate big differences on the shape and one the biggest is the size of the air bubble.

Check the pics and enjoy!!!

Hola vintage lovers

VINTAGE REPAIR VOL.1

Hi Vintage Lovers,

Welcome to Vintage Repair, the new section of Vintage Union where we will post some of the techniques to make your vintage sneakers comeback from the other side.

In this case we are gone to talk about repairing a broken midsole; the sneaker is an Adidas Conductor I won on Ebay the seller told me that the shoe was used but in great condition; it’s obvious he was lying to me; well anyway I won them really cheap.

Materials that you would need before starting the procedure:

Elastic rubbers

Transparent silicone

Latex gloves

Knife

Spoon

Paper

A new pair of insoles

Shoelaces (optional)

Elasticos

Silicona transparente

Guantes de latex

Cuchillo

Cuchara

Papel

Unas plantillas nuevas

Cordones (opcional)

First of all use the elastic rubbers on the sneakers and make yourself comfortable during the process. Use the knife to make a cut on the top of the midsole. Be aware to make it big enough to be able to introduce the spoon.

Use the spoon to remove all the sticky midsole and clean the inside of the midsole with the paper as hard as you can.

Then use the transparent silicone and your hands to introduce the silicone and make it uniform inside the midsole.

Wait a week let the silicone do its job; this is the worst part if there is another problem in the midsole the human eye can't see the silicone will show you.

Finally when the silicone is drought use the new insoles and I like to combine the shoe with shoelaces in this case grey shoelaces.

READY TO ROCK AGAIN!!!

LISTAS PARA USAR OTRA VEZ!!!

PUMA-MADE IN SPAIN

PUMA BOXES

MIXED
In the late 80's and early 90's there were in Spain two Puma brands. In one side you had the original Rudolf Dassler Puma and in the other side you had the Spanish Puma brand (La nuestra).
PUMA WHITE (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA MASTER (MADE IN SPAIN)

I only can talk about the Spanish Puma because first of all I only have a few pair of Rudolf Dassler Puma and they were made in Korea and another pair made in Italy.
The leather is gross and seems to be indestructible , the cw are very nice; they are two style the usual imitating the classic cw of Puma's like Clyde , Dallas and the 90's cw with an electric cw’s
.

PUMA DIAL (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA URBE (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA MADISON (MADE IN SPAIN)
The Spanish Puma create a system of cushioning called Impuls System it seems that the very first utilization was on the Tennis shoes (Puma White) and then they start to use it the rest of the basketball and running shoes. It supposed that it reduce the muscular fatigue because it help do comfort and to reverse the energy from the heel.

PUMA REPRYSE (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA TURBO (MADE IN SPAIN)

They also copy some of the original design of Rudolph Dassler just like the Puma Turbo that we see in the pictures is similar than the og posted in the sneaker freaker report.
PUMA UNO (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA LANGE (MADE IN SPAIN)

PUMA DISC ADVANTAGE 4000 (MADE IN ITALY)
PUMA CHAMPION PLAYER (MADE IN KOREA)
